What We Do
How Valjeans serves the community
Mentoring
We aid former inmates by helping them with the guidance and skills they need to be successful. Our goal is to counsel them through their unique struggles on the path of a second chance.
Housing
Obtaining clean and affordable housing is a struggle for people with a criminal record. Rarely do people give them a chance to show that they have changed. Our furnished housing allows them the time they need to stabilize in the community and to learn healthy habits.
Community Service
We use community service to pay restitution, give back , help our clients regain a sense of their place in the community, and to center themselves with a humility and gratitude.
